Avoiding Obamacare

Employers are reportedly cutting workers' hours to avoid paying for insurance under Obamacare. Can they give two part-time jobs instead?

    I read yesterday that temp jobs are now a big and permanent chunk of the employment landscape.

    Don't get me started.

    Too late.

    I guess this will always happen. I worked at a nasty company once (they paid Spanish-peaking workers less for the same and/or more complex work, among other things). We unionized. It wasn't long before they'd gotten rid of all the full-time workers. Part-timers have fewer benefits.

    The world can be damn WalMsrt sometimes.
