I know, but I have to brag a little, since I am filled with garden envy myself most of the time.
Someone asked what my ideal life would be, and I said: Gardening in the morning, trying my hand at fiction in the afternoon and being involved in community/nonprofit causes I cared about a few evenings a week, with lots of friend gatherings thrown in.
That's if I was independently wealthy, of course!
Believe me, outside of the vegetable garden, I really don't have anything to brag about in terms of my yard. It is downright unsightly, in fact.
I am a Los Angeles-based columnist for Bloomberg BusinessWeek. I have also written for The Los Angeles Times, Newsday, The Chicago Tribune, Newsweek, The Los Angeles Daily News and Sunset magazine.
A place to link all my business writing and podcasting together, along with occasional comments on the remarkable people I interview and the ideas I'm privileged to disseminate.
I also reserve the right to blog on random social, political and business issues in the hope that I can add something to the greater public discussion.
Your green thumb has me green with envy.
ReplyDeleteI love the garden posts. Even when you brag.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Vijay! This is an old post and the garden is now transitioning to fall.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to get some pix up once I get the fall veggies in the ground.
