I read yesterday that temp jobs are now a big and permanent chunk of the employment landscape.
Don't get me started. Too late.I guess this will always happen. I worked at a nasty company once (they paid Spanish-peaking workers less for the same and/or more complex work, among other things). We unionized. It wasn't long before they'd gotten rid of all the full-time workers. Part-timers have fewer benefits. The world can be damn WalMsrt sometimes.
